Once upon a time there was a young woman. She was a lovely girl with a fierce spirit and a passionate mind. She was not afraid to speak what she felt, nor was she afraid of the consequences that trait sometimes presented. After all, she was merely putting into words what was portrayed in action or personality of others. She lacked patience most of the time and always fell victim to the tug in her heart.

She was nurtured by some, but abandon by most and throughout the years she became lost. She slowly and slowly began to grow a large, hideous mustache.
Some say that this was a curse that the girl brought upon herself. Others sympathized for the girl. But none helped her, or listened to her, or protected her from herself. No one was brave enough to dive in to her ocean of blackness and search for the only small piece of hope left inside her.

After years and years, the mustache grew thick and prominent. The girl could not recognize herself anymore. She looked in the mirror and realized that something must be done and only she could do it.

The girl set out on her journey and with every step forth, the mustache began to shed and wither until there was barely any of it remaining.

It is impossible to tell if a person will ever find their true identity, but it is unfathomable to say that anyone is truly being themselves.
This blog is about my journey and who I truly am.
There is no more mustache to hide behind.
